ABSTRACT

Introducción: La mediación adquiere elevada significación social, a partir de su vínculo con la prevención y solución de conflictos. Sin embargo, la revisión bibliográfica y la experiencia profesional de los autores indican que el tema es insuficientemente tratado en relación con el desempeño asistencial del médico de familia. El objetivo del artículo consistió en valorar aspectos asociados a este profesional como mediador en conflictos vinculados a la salud. Métodos: Investigación cualitativa comprendida entre febrero de 2023 y junio de 2023 en el área de salud del Policlínico Docente "René Vallejo Ortiz". Se emplearon métodos teóricos como el análisis y síntesis, el histórico-lógico y la sistematización. En el orden empírico se empleó la revisión de documentos y la encuesta a médicos de familia. Resultados: Fueron develados criterios valorativos sobre aspectos legales, curriculares, metodológicos y asistenciales vinculados al tema. También se obtiene, a partir de la autopercepción del médico de familia, valoraciones sobre la preparación para un desempeño mediador. Discusión: Se valoran integralmente aspectos asociados al médico de familia como mediador en conflictos vinculados a la salud y se revela una correspondencia con estudios precedentes respecto a la necesidad de optimizar en la educación médica la mediación como contenido de enseñanza. Conclusiones: Se enfatiza que el desempeño mediador del médico de familia en los conflictos vinculados a la salud, no se reducen a las posibilidades de intervención reconocidas en el ordenamiento jurídico. Se corrobora la pertinencia del tema y la necesidad de introducir trasformaciones en este sentido.


Introduction: Mediation acquires high social significance, based on its link with the prevention and resolution of conflicts. However, the bibliographic review and the professional experience of the authors indicate that the topic is insufficiently addressed in relation to the care performance of the family doctor. The objective of the article was to assess aspects associated with this professional as a mediator in conflicts related to health. Methods: Qualitative research between february 2023 and june 2023 in the health area of ​​the "René Vallejo Ortiz" Teaching Polyclinic. Theoretical methods such as analysis and synthesis, historical-logical and systematization were used. In the empirical order, the review of documents and the survey of family doctors were used. Results: Evaluative criteria on legal, curricular, methodological and healthcare aspects linked to the topic were revealed. Assessments of preparation for mediation performance are also obtained from the family doctor's self-perception. Discussion: Aspects associated with the family doctor as a mediator in conflicts related to health are comprehensively assessed and a correspondence with previous studies is revealed regarding the need to optimize mediation as teaching content in medical education. Conclusions: It is emphasized that the mediating performance of the family doctor in conflicts related to health is not reduced to the possibilities of intervention recognized in the legal system. The relevance of the topic and the need to introduce transformations in this sense are corroborated.

ABSTRACT

El logro de una educación accesible y de calidad para todos los ciudadanos es, en la actualidad, una de las prioridades para la formación de profesionales, puesto que estos contribuyen al desarrollo de un sistema de educación reconocido, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional. De esta manera, el estudio realizado se propuso como objetico diseñar una estrategia pedagógica para la preparación al profesor como mediador de conflictos en la clase de Educación Física, de las escuelas secundarias básicas del municipio La Habana del Este. Para ello, se utilizó un enfoque mixto, con el fin de agrupar los análisis de documentos y las descripciones cualitativas junto a tablas y figuras para complementar y enriquecer el estudio cualitativa y cuantitativamente. Como principal resultado, se evidenciaron los principios, premisas y el procedimiento metodológico para la integración de influencias educativas. En sentido general, la preparación del profesor como mediador de conflictos da respuesta a los programas priorizados del Ministerio de Educación en su agenda de perfeccionamiento hacia el 2030 y del Instituto Nacional de Deporte, Educación Física y Recreación.


A concretização de um ensino acessível e de qualidade para todos os cidadãos é atualmente uma das prioridades para a formação dos profissionais, uma vez que contribuem para o desenvolvimento de um sistema educativo reconhecido, tanto a nível nacional como internacional. Desta forma, o estudo propôs desenhar uma estratégia pedagógica para preparar o professor como mediador de conflitos nas aulas das escolas secundárias básicas do município de La Habana del Este. Para isso, foi utilizada uma abordagem mista, de modo a agrupar a análise de documentos e descrições qualitativas com tabelas e figuras para complementar e enriquecer o estudo, tanto qualitativo como quantitativo. O principal resultado é a integração das influências educacionais, os fundamentos, princípios, premissas e procedimento metodológico. De um modo geral, é evidente a preparação do professor como mediador de conflitos, respondendo aos programas prioritários do Ministério da Educação em aperfeiçoamento para 2030 e do Instituto Nacional de Esportes, Educação Física e Recreação.


The achievement of accessible and quality education for all citizens is, currently, one of the priorities for the training of professionals, since they contribute to the development of a recognized education system, both nationally and internationally. In this way, the objective of the study carried out was to design a pedagogical strategy to prepare the teacher as a conflict mediator in the Physical Education class, in the basic secondary schools of the municipality of La Habana del Este. For this purpose, a mixed approach was used, in order to group document analyzes and qualitative descriptions together with tables and figures to complement and enrich the study qualitatively and quantitatively. As the main result, the principles, premises and methodological procedure for the integration of educational influences were evident. In a general sense, the preparation of the teacher as a conflict mediator responds to the prioritized programs of the Ministry of Education in its improvement agenda towards 2030 and of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation.

ABSTRACT

Objetivo: verificar se autoestima e satisfação com a vida exercem efeitos mediadores na relação entre orientações sexuais minoritárias e sintomatologia depressiva em amostra de pós-graduandos stricto sensu. Método: estudo analítico, transversal, conduzido com 321 pós-graduandos stricto sensu entre março/abril de 2021. Utilizou-se o Patient Health Questionnaire-9 para avaliação de sintomas depressivos, Escala de Autoestima de Rosemberg e Escala de Satisfação com a Vida. Análises de mediação simples foram conduzidas por meio da macro PROCESS. Resultados: pós-graduandos de orientações sexuais minoritárias apresentaram maior severidade de sintomas depressivos e menores indicadores de autoestima e satisfação com a vida do que seus pares heterossexuais. Autoestima e satisfação com a vida mediaram parcialmente a relação entre orientação sexual e severidade de sintomas depressivos em uma proporção de, respectivamente, 48,26% e 37,54%. Conclusão: autoestima e satisfação com a vida apresentaram-se como importantes mediadores da relação entre orientações sexuais minoritárias e sintomas depressivos entre pós-graduandos.


Objective: to verify whether self-esteem and satisfaction with life exert mediating effects on the relationship between minority sexual orientations and depressive symptoms in a sample of graduate students. Method: analytical, cross-sectional study conducted with 321 Brazilian graduate students between March/April 2021. The Patient Health Questionnaire-9 was used to assess depressive symptoms, was used too, Rosemberg´s Self-Esteem Scale and the Life Satisfaction Scale. Simple mediation analyzes were conducted using the PROCESS macro. Results: graduate students with minority sexual orientations had more severe depressive symptoms and lower indicators of self-esteem and life satisfaction than their heterosexual peers. Self-esteem and satisfaction with life partially mediated the relationship between sexual orientation and severity of depressive symptoms in a proportion of, respectively, 48.26% and 37.54%. Conclusion: self-esteem and life satisfaction were important mediators of the relationship between minority sexual orientations and depressive symptoms among graduate students.

Los análisis de mediación simple se realizaron utilizando la macro PROCESS. Resultados: los estudiantes de posgrado con orientaciones sexuales minoritarias presentaron síntomas depresivos más severos y menores indicadores de autoestima y satisfacción con la vida que sus pares heterosexuales. La autoestima y la satisfacción con la vida mediaron parcialmente la relación entre la orientación sexual y la severidad de los síntomas depresivos en una proporción de, respectivamente, 48,26% y 37,54%. Conclusión: la autoestima y la satisfacción con la vida fueron importantes mediadores de la relación entre la orientación sexual minoritaria y los síntomas depresivos entre estudiantes de posgrado.

ABSTRACT

Resumen La presente investigación se focalizó en los diferentes tipos de uso (activo/pasivo) que hacen los usuarios de redes sociales y los efectos psicológicos que esto puede conllevar, sobre todo en aquellos sujetos tendientes a compararse con los demás. Por un lado, se examinó el poder predictor de variables relacionadas al uso de redes sociales (i. e., tiempo de conexión, tipo de uso -pasivo/activo-, motivaciones de uso) y la comparación social, sobre el malestar psicológico percibido (i. e., depresión, ansiedad, estrés). Por otro lado, se analizó el rol mediador de la comparación social en la relación entre el uso pasivo de redes sociales y la percepción de malestar psicológico percibido. La muestra fue de conveniencia y estuvo compuesta por 420 sujetos de población general (211 hombres, 209 mujeres), con una media de edad de 40.29 años (DE = 14.93). Se utilizaron los siguientes instrumentos de recolección de datos: Motives for SMSs use Scale; Iowa-Netherlands Comparison Orientation Measure (INCOM-E), Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21) y una escala diseñada ad-hoc para evaluar el uso activo y pasivo que se hace de redes sociales. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron que la comparación social es el principal predictor de malestar psicológico junto con el motivo de uso relacionado con pasatiempo/exhibicionismo. Además, se pudo comprobar un efecto indirecto del uso pasivo sobre el malestar psicológico considerando a la comparación social como variable mediadora. Por lo tanto, usar pasivamente las redes generaría mayor malestar si el usuario tiende a compararse con quienes realizan las publicaciones.


Abstract The present investigation is framed in the field of cyberpsychology. It aimed to analyze the predictive power of variables related to the use of social media sites -SMSs- (i. e., connection time, type of use -passive / active-, motivations for use) and social comparison, on perceived psychological distress (i. e., depression, anxiety, stress). Furthermore, the mediating role of social comparison in the relationship between the passive use of SMSs and the perceived psychological distress, was also analyzed. It is important to study these topics since different international studies have shown inconsistent and contradictory results regarding the effects of SMSs use on individuals' well-being (e. g., Frison y Eggermont, 2015; Kraut et al., 2002; Nie et al., 2015). Consequently, some studies have focused on understanding whether the manner in which people use the networks, whether actively or passively, explains how technology impacts on users' well-being and/or psychological distress (Verduyn et al., 2015). The negative impact of passive use of SMSs can be explained by the Social Comparison Theory (Festinger, 1954), which suggests that people tend to evaluate themselves in comparison with others. These comparisons might generate negative effects on the individual (Giagkou et al., 2018) and, according to Lup et al. (2015), social comparison may be a mediating variable in this association. Regarding participants of the study, a convenience sample of 420 subjects of general population was studied (211 men, 209 women). The mean age was 40.29 years old (SD = 14.93). The majority of the participants (n = 278) lived in Buenos Aires City and surroundings. In terms of variables related to the use of SMSs, when asked about type of SMSs, most participants reported using more than one SMS, mainly Facebook (72 %) and Instagram (57 %). Regarding time spent on SMSs, 60 % of the respondents used their favorite SMS more than three times a day. The mean daily time engaged on all the SMSs exceeded five hours. Data were gathered using the Motives for SMSs use Scale (Lupano Perugini y Castro Solano, 2021a), the Iowa-Netherlands Comparison Orientation Measure (INCOM-E) (Buunk et al., 2005; Gibbons y Buunk, 1999), the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21) (Antúnez y Vinet, 2012; Lovibond y Lovibond, 1995). Furthermore, a survey to assess individuals' use of social networks was designed. The first part explored the most frequently used SMSs, the number and type of friends/followers, and the time spent on SMSs. The main SMSs were listed and participants were asked to indicate whether they used them or not, and if they did, they rated the amount of time spent on SMSs daily. The total amount of time per day was also surveyed. The second part of the survey was designed based on The Passive Active Use Measure (PAUM, Gerson et al., 2017) and some users' suggestions. This instrument assesses the frequency of certain activities performed on the networks to find out if participants make active use (e. g., posting information, commenting) or passive use (e. g., viewing profiles and posts, scrolling). The obtained results showed that social comparison is the main predictor of psychological distress. The motivation for use related to pass time / exhibitionism was also a significant predictor. In addition, an indirect effect of passive use on perceived psychological distress could be verified, considering social comparison as a mediating variable. Therefore, using the social networks passively would generate greater discomfort if the user tends to compare themselves with those who make the publications. The results of this study allow both users and healthcare and education providers to have greater knowledge of the consequences of using social media on individuals' overall well-being, and to promote their proper use.

Este artigo trata de uma revisão sistemática da literatura. O problema de pesquisa foi verificar como se dá a atuação do psicólogo nos atendimentos de mediação familiar. O objetivo principal foi caracterizar a atuação do psicólogo enquanto mediador de conflitos familiares em processos de disputa de guarda de filhos. Além disso, buscou verificar as técnicas utilizadas para realização da mediação, as características do processo de mediação, quem são os indivíduos atendidos e quem são os mediadores. Foram escolhidos os descritores "mediação familiar" AND "psicologia". As bases de dados utilizadas na pesquisa foram Redalyc, BVS e Scielo. Analisou-se artigos empíricos e documentais na língua inglesa, espanhola e portuguesa, sem restritor de tempo. Dentre 37 artigos encontrados, foram analisados um total final de sete artigos. Observou-se que o trabalho de mediação é realizado de forma multidisciplinar, como preconiza a Lei da Mediação no Brasil. O trabalho do psicólogo é realizado fundamentalmente em parceria com operadores do direito e assistentes sociais, contudo, sem uma clareza quanto às especificidades do trabalho do psicólogo como mediador


This article deals with a systematic review of the literature. The research problem was verified as it gives a psychological performance in the family mediation enterprises. The main objective was to characterize the psychologist's role as a mediator of family conflicts in child custody dispute processes. Also, try to check how techniques used for mediation, as resources of the mediation process, who are the individuals served and who are the mediators. The descriptors "family mediation" AND "psychology" were selected. As database used in the research were Redalyc, BVL and Scielo. Review some empirical articles and documents in English, Spanish and Portuguese without time restriction. Among 37 articles found, analyzed in the fi nal total of seven articles. Observe if the mediation work is done in a multidisciplinary way, as recommended by the Mediation Law in Brazil. The work of the psychologist is performed primarily in partnership with legal enforcement offi cers and Social Workers, however without clarity as to the specifi cs of the psychologist's work as a mediator

El objetivo principal fue caracterizar el papel del psicólogo como mediador de conflictos familiares en disputas por la custodia de los hijos. Además, buscó verificar las técnicas utilizadas para realizar la mediación, las características del proceso de mediación, quiénes son las personas asistidas y quiénes son los mediadores. Se eligieron los descriptores "mediación familiar" Y "psicología". Las bases de datos utilizadas en la investigación fueron Redalyc, BVS y Scielo. Se analizaron artículos empíricos y documentales en inglés, español y portugués, sin restricción de tiempo. Entre 37 artículos encontrados, se analizaron un total de siete artículos. Se observó que el trabajo de mediación se realiza de forma multidisciplinar, como lo recomienda la Ley de Mediación en Brasil. El trabajo del psicólogo se realiza fundamentalmente en colaboración con operadores jurídicos y trabajadores sociales, pero sin claridad en cuanto a las especifi cidades del trabajo del psicólogo como mediador

ABSTRACT Introduction: Basketball is a combative sport, very popular among college students. However, it requires many periods of running, interspersed with emergency breaks, tackling, and other actions prone to ankle injuries. Objective: Investigate the causes of ankle joint injuries in college basketball, raising countermeasures to prevent these sports injuries. Methods: 413 college students who regularly participate in basketball games at 10 colleges and universities were selected as research objects. The causes of ankle joint injuries in the process of this sport were investigated through questionnaires, and the main causes of injuries were analyzed using statistical methods. Results: The causes of ankle joint injuries in college basketball include subjective and objective factors. Subjective factors include inadequate psychological preparation, warm-up exercise, cushioning, and excessive exercise, among others listed; objective factors mainly contemplate local injury and accidental injury. Conclusion: The participation of college students in basketball is beneficial to improve their physical health, requiring effective measures to prevent possible ankle injuries, both related to subjective and objective aspects. Level of evidence II; Therapeutic studies - investigation of treatment outcomes.


RESUMO Introdução: o basquetebol é uma modalidade esportiva combativa, muito popular entre os universitários. No entanto, necessita de muitos períodos de corrida, intercalados por pausas emergenciais, enfrentamentos e outras ações propensas a lesões no tornozelo. Objetivo: Investigar as causas de lesões nas articulações do tornozelo no basquetebol universitário, levantando contramedidas para prevenir essas lesões desportivas. Métodos: O total de 413 estudantes universitários que participam regularmente em jogos de basquetebol em 10 faculdades e universidades foram selecionados como objetos de pesquisa. As causas das lesões nas articulações do tornozelo no processo desse esporte foram investigadas através de questionários, sendo analisadas as principais causas das lesões através de métodos estatísticos. Resultados: as causas das lesões nas articulações do tornozelo dentro do basquetebol universitário incluem principalmente fatores subjetivos e objetivos. Os fatores subjetivos incluem a preparação psicológica inadequada, o exercício de aquecimento inadequado, o amortecimento inadequado, o exercício excessivo, entre outros listados; os fatores objetivos contemplam principalmente a lesão local e a lesão acidental. Conclusão: A participação dos estudantes universitários no basquetebol é benéfica para melhorar a sua saúde física, requerendo medidas eficazes para prevenir possíveis lesões no tornozelo, tanto as relacionadas aos aspectos subjetivos como objetivos. Nível de evidência II; Estudos terapêuticos - investigação dos resultados do tratamento.


RESUMEN Introducción: El baloncesto es una modalidad deportiva combativa, muy popular entre los estudiantes universitarios. Sin embargo, requiere muchos periodos de carrera, intercalados con pausas de emergencia, enfrentamientos y otras acciones propensas a las lesiones de tobillo. Objetivo: Investigar las causas de las lesiones de la articulación del tobillo en el baloncesto universitario, planteando contramedidas para prevenir estas lesiones deportivas. Métodos: Se seleccionaron como objeto de investigación un total de 413 estudiantes universitarios que participaban regularmente en partidos de baloncesto en 10 colegios y universidades. Las causas de las lesiones de la articulación del tobillo en el proceso de este deporte se investigaron mediante cuestionarios, y las principales causas de las lesiones se analizaron mediante métodos estadísticos. Resultados: Las causas de las lesiones de la articulación del tobillo en el baloncesto universitario incluyen principalmente factores subjetivos y objetivos. Los factores subjetivos incluyen una preparación psicológica inadecuada, un ejercicio de calentamiento inadecuado, una amortiguación inadecuada, un ejercicio excesivo, entre otros enumerados; los factores objetivos contemplan principalmente la lesión local y la lesión accidental. Conclusión: La participación de los estudiantes universitarios en el baloncesto es beneficiosa para mejorar su salud física, requiriendo medidas eficaces para prevenir posibles lesiones de tobillo, tanto las relacionadas con aspectos subjetivos como objetivos. ABSTRACT Introduction: The training should be performed according to the characteristics of basketball by establishing a scientific evaluation index system to fully exploit the potential of its players. Objective: Evaluate the index system for measuring physical training specific to basketball players. Methods: The physical training evaluation indexes of athletes were studied by checking the scientific literature and mathematical statistics, and an evaluation index for the physical training of young basketball players was designed and experimented. Results: The highest proportion of the special fitness score in athletic average was 46.25%; the proportion of the players' general fitness score represented 15% above and 13.75% below. The specific fitness level of basketball players is mainly at the average level. Conclusion: The effects of training can be effectively evaluated by the experienced index system, and it is useful for athletes to find deficiencies, make full use of their potential, improve skills and adapt basketball tactics. It may also provide more reserve talent for professional basketball. Level of evidence II; Therapeutic studies - investigation of treatment outcomes.


RESUMO Introdução: O treinamento deve ser realizado de acordo com as características do basquetebol estabelecendo um sistema de índice de avaliação científica para explorar plenamente o potencial de seus jogadores. Objetivo: Avaliar o sistema de índices de medição do treinamento físico específico para os jogadores de basquetebol. Métodos: Os índices de avaliação do treinamento físico dos atletas foram estudados verificando a literatura científica e estatísticas matemáticas, um índice de avaliação para o treinamento físico de jovens jogadores de basquetebol foi projetado e experimentado. Resultados: A maior proporção da pontuação da aptidão física especial na média atlética foi de 46,25%; a proporção da pontuação da aptidão física geral dos jogadores representou 15% acima e 13,75% abaixo, o nível de aptidão física específica dos jogadores de basquetebol está principalmente no nível mediano. Conclusão: Os efeitos do treinamento podem ser efetivamente avaliados pelo sistema de índice experimentado, sendo útil para que os atletas possam encontrar deficiências, aproveitar plenamente seu próprio potencial, melhorar as habilidades e adaptar as táticas do basquetebol. Também poderá fornecer mais talentos de reserva para o basquetebol profissional. Nível de evidência II; Estudos terapêuticos - investigação dos resultados do tratamento.


RESUMEN Introducción: El entrenamiento debe realizarse de acuerdo con las características del baloncesto estableciendo un sistema de índices de evaluación científica para explotar plenamente el potencial de sus jugadores. Objetivo: Evaluar el sistema de índices de medición del entrenamiento físico específico para jugadores de baloncesto. Métodos: Se estudiaron los índices de evaluación del entrenamiento físico de los deportistas mediante la comprobación de la literatura científica y la estadística matemática, y se diseñó y experimentó un índice de evaluación del entrenamiento físico de los jóvenes jugadores de baloncesto. Resultados: La proporción más alta de la puntuación de la aptitud física especial en la media atlética fue del 46,25%; la proporción de la puntuación de la aptitud física general de los jugadores representó un 15% por encima y un 13,75% por debajo, el nivel de aptitud física específica de los jugadores de baloncesto está principalmente en el nivel medio. Conclusión: Los efectos del entrenamiento pueden evaluarse eficazmente mediante el sistema de índice de experiencia, y es útil para que los deportistas encuentren las deficiencias, aprovechen al máximo su propio potencial, mejoren las habilidades y adapten las tácticas de baloncesto. También puede proporcionar más talentos de reserva para el baloncesto profesional. Nivel de evidencia II; Estudios terapéuticos - investigación de los resultados del tratamiento.

Resumen En este trabajo se indagó, desde una aproximación psicológica no representacional, y a partir de dos experimentos, por el efecto de la estructura textual en la comprensión y abstracción de textos. En el primer experimento, quince estudiantes universitarios leyeron tres textos históricos distintos con una de tres estructuras -secuencial, jerárquica o circunstancial-, y se midió si interpretaron, subinterpretaron o sobreinterpretaron los textos en tres pruebas propias de cada estructura, y si realizaban la abstracción de un hecho común a los tres textos. En el segundo, se replicó sistemáticamente el primer experimento, pero con otros quince estudiantes, que se asignaron según su conocimiento conceptual del dominio histórico-político. Los resultados sugieren mayor subinterpretación con la estructura secuencial, y mayor sobreinterpretación con la jerárquica y la circunstancial; el conocimiento conceptual explicó los hallazgos mejor que la estructura textual, pero no dio cuenta de toda la variabilidad. Al final se discuten los resultados en términos de la mediación lingüística como una competencia subordinante tanto del conocimiento conceptual como de la estructura textual. Asimismo, se resaltan las ventajas del registro evolutivo de la comprensión de cada lector, se anticipan algunas fuentes de control adicional para futuros estudios, y se culmina proponiendo algunas implicaciones educativas de los hallazgos.


Abstract In two experiments, the effect of textual structure on the comprehension and abstraction of texts from a non-representational psychological approach was investigated. In the first experiment, fifteen college students read three different historical texts with one of three structures: -sequential, hierarchical, and circumstantial- and t was measured whether they interpreted, under-intetpreted or over-interpreted the texts in three tests specific to each structure, and whether they abstracted a fact common to the three texts. In the second, the first experiment was systematically replicated but with another fifteen students, who were assigned according to their conceptual knowledge of the historical-political domain. The results suggest greater under-intetpretation with the sequential structure, and greater over-interpretation with the hierarchical and circumstantial. Conceptual knowledge explained the findings better than the textual structure but did not account for all variability. The results are discussed in terms of linguistic mediation as a subordinating competence of both conceptual knowledge and textual structure. It also highlights the advantages of the evolving record of each reader's comprehension, anticipates some sources of additional control for future studies, and concludes by proposing some educational implications of the findings.

Abstract Introduction/objective: Worries regarding COVID-19 and its economic, social, and psychological consequences, together with the strict measures implemented to control this health crisis, have threatened the mental health of adolescents. The aim of this study was to test the mediating role of resilience and life satisfaction in the association between COVID-19 related worries and mental health among adolescents and young adults. Method: A total of 3485 participants between 14-29 years of age (Medad = 19.68, DT = 3.36) completed an online survey regarding pandemic-related worries, resilience, life satisfaction, and emotional symptoms (depression, anxiety, and stress). Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was performed to test multi-group invariance. Results: Resilience and life satisfaction partly mediated the relationship between pandemic-related worries and emotional symptoms. Pandemic-related worries were positively associated with emotional symptoms. Resilience and life satisfaction mediated the impact of pandemic-related worries on emotional symptoms. The tested model was invariant according to gender and age. Conclusions: Our findings go beyond the context of the current pandemic, highlighting how young people's worries regarding extraordinary circumstances may negatively impact on their mental health. This study highlights the mediating role of life satisfaction and resilience, thus emphasising the need for promoting these aspects to improve the mental health of young people during this global health crisis.


Resumen Introducción/objetivo: La preocupación por la COVID-19 y sus consecuencias económicas, sociales y psicológicas, junto con las estrictas medidas aplicadas para combatir esta crisis sanitaria, han supuesto una amenaza para la salud mental de los jóvenes. El objetivo de este artículo fue analizar el papel mediador de la resiliencia y la satisfacción con la vida en la asociación entre las preocupaciones relacionadas con la COVID-19 y la salud mental de los adolescentes y adultos jóvenes. Método: Un total de 3485 participantes con edades comprendidas entre los 14 a 29 años (Medad = 19.68, DT = 3.36) completaron una encuesta online sobre las preocupaciones relacionadas con la pandemia, la resiliencia, la satisfacción vital y los síntomas emocionales (depresión, ansiedad y estrés). Se realizó un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales (SEM) para examinar la invarianza multigrupo. Resultados: La resiliencia y la satisfacción con la vida mediaron parcialmente la relación entre las preocupaciones relacionadas con la pandemia y los síntomas emocionales. En concreto, las preocupaciones relacionadas con la pandemia se relacionaron positivamente con los síntomas emocionales. La resiliencia y la satisfacción con la vida mediaban el impacto de las preocupaciones relacionadas con la pandemia y los síntomas emocionales. El modelo demostró invarianza en cuanto a género y edad. Conclusiones: Nuestros resultados van más allá del contexto de la pandemia, revelando que las preocupaciones de los jóvenes por circunstancias extraordinarias afectan de manera negativa su salud mental. Este estudio pone de relieve el papel mediador de la satisfacción vital y la resiliencia, enfatizando así la necesidad de promover estos aspectos para mejorar la salud mental de los jóvenes durante esta crisis sanitaria mundial.

Resumen Introducción: Para las personas con trabajo remunerado, la familia es una fuente importante de recursos psicológicos que contribuyen a su bienestar. Se hipotetiza que el apoyo familiar es un factor protector de la satisfacción vital de la persona, de modo directo y a través de otras variables como las comidas familiares y la satisfacción con la vida familiar. En ese sentido, el objetivo de este estudio fue examinar el papel mediador en serie de la atmósfera de las comidas familiares y la satisfacción con la vida familiar en la relación entre el apoyo familiar y la satisfacción con la vida, en mujeres y hombres con trabajos remunerados. Método: Se aplicó la Escala de Satisfacción con la Vida, Escala Multidimensional de Apoyo Social Percibido, Escala Atmósfera de las Comidas Familiares y Escala de Satisfacción con la Vida Familiar, a una muestra de 236 mujeres y 236 hombres con trabajo remunerado en Temuco, Chile. El análisis estadístico consideró un modelo de mediación en serie con un Intervalo de Confianza del 95%. Resultados: El apoyo familiar y la satisfacción con la vida correlacionaron de forma directa y estadísticamente significativa. Además, se obtuvo un efecto indirecto significativo de la atmósfera de las comidas familiares y la satisfacción con la vida familiar, en la relación entre el apoyo familiar y la satisfacción con la vida. La atmósfera de las comidas familiares y la satisfacción con la vida familiar son mediadores en serie en la relación entre el apoyo familiar y la satisfacción con la vida, en este grupo de trabajadores. Conclusiones: Los resultados sugieren que variables asociadas a la familia y a aspectos sociales de la alimentación influyen positivamente en la satisfacción vital de los trabajadores.


Abstract Introduction: For workers, family is an important source of psychological resources that contribute to the individual's well-being. It is hypothesized that family support is a protective factor of the person's life satisfaction, directly and through other variables such as family meals and satisfaction with family life. In this regard, the aim of this study was to examine the serial mediating role of the atmosphere of family meals and satisfaction with family life in the relationship between family support and satisfaction with life, in women and men with paid jobs. Method: The Satisfaction with Life Scale, the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (family subscale), a measure of Atmosphere Scale of Family Meals and the Satisfaction with Family Life Scale were administered to a sample of 236 women and 236 men with paid jobs in Temuco, Chile. The statistical analysis considered a serial mediation model with a 95% Confidence Interval. Results: Family support and satisfaction with life significantly correlated with one another. In addition, a significant indirect effect of the atmosphere of family meals and satisfaction with family life was obtained in the relationship between family support and life satisfaction. The atmosphere of family meals and satisfaction with family life are serial mediators in the relationship between family support and life satisfaction in this group of workers. Conclusions: Results suggest that variables related to the family domain and to social aspects of food consumption have a positive impact in workers' life satisfaction.

Abstract Introduction: The scientific community is taking an increasing interest in mindful ness due to its positive association with physical and psychological health indicators. However, there is still ongoing debate as to whether there could be other explanations for these effects. Aim: This study explores the relationships between dispositional mindfulness, cognitive fusion, effortful control and repetitive negative thinking (RNT). RNT was chosen as a potential me diating variable due to its presence in multiple psychological disorders. Method: A mediation analysis was performed using the bootstrap method with 5000 replications on data collected from a non-clinical sample of 415 young adults who completed a battery of online questionnai res. Results: Dispositional mindfulness is negatively associated with measures of RNT, effortful control and cognitive fusion. The analyses indicate that the effect that dispositional mindful ness has on cognitive fusion in young people can be partially mediated with medium effect size by RNT. Conclusion: RNT may play a central role as an underlying process in the link between mindfulness and different psychological aspects.


Resumen Introducción: Mindfulness ha ganado interés dentro de la comunidad científica dada su asociación con resultados positivos sobre indicadores de salud física y psicológica. Sin embargo, el debate sigue abierto sobre cuáles son los procesos que podrían mediar estas re laciones. Objetivo: Explorar en una muestra de 415 jóvenes, las relaciones entre mindfulness disposicional, fusión cognitiva, control del esfuerzo y pensamiento negativo repetitivo (PNR). El PNR se propone como potencial variable mediadora debido a que se es común en múltiples trastornos psicológicos. Método: Los análisis de mediación realizados a través de Bootstrap ping con 5000 replicaciones, indicaron que el efecto que genera el mindfulness disposicional sobre la fusión cognitiva puede estar mediado parcialmente por el PNR en personas jóvenes con un tamaño del efecto medio. Conclusiones: Mindfulness disposicional se relaciona de manera negativa con las medidas de PNR, control del esfuerzo y fusión cognitiva. Por tanto, el PNR podría desempeñar un papel importante como proceso subyacente entre mindfulness y diferentes aspectos psicológicos.

Resumen Las tecnologías digitales móviles son parte de la vida cotidiana de los niños. Sin embargo, poco se conoce sobre su contexto de uso en Latinoamérica. Esta investigación utilizó un diseño mixto para describir las características del uso de teléfonos móviles y tabletas en niños costarricenses entre 1 y 5 años de edad y sus cuidadores. El Estudio 1 analizó las interacciones familiares en áreas de comida de centros comerciales a través de observaciones no participantes. Los resultados indicaron que fueron los cuidadores quienes utilizaron los teléfonos durante la observación, ante lo cual los niños usualmente realizaron actividades que no implicaron interactuar con sus cuidadores. Frente a intentos de los niños por interactuar, los cuidadores raramente respondieron. A través de una metodología de encuesta dirigida a padres, el Estudio 2 exploró el uso de los dispositivos por parte de los niños y sus cuidadores en el hogar. Los resultados indicaron que los niños acceden principalmente a contenidos educativos al usar los dispositivos, y los cuidadores mencionaron usualmente acompañar a los niños durante su uso. También reportaron casi siempre utilizar las estrategias mediadoras de tipo restrictivo y de supervisión, y en menor medida la mediación instructiva y de uso conjunto. Además, los cuidadores consideraron que la actividad física y el sueño son los aspectos más negativamente afectados por el uso infantil de dispositivos, mientras que las habilidades matemáticas y lingüísticas tienden a verse más afectadas positivamente. Estos resultados caracterizan el uso temprano de dispositivos móviles en contextos de cuidado parental en Costa Rica.


Abstract Mobile technologies are part of children's everyday lives. However, little is known about their context of use in Latin America. The goal of this paper is to describe how Costa Rican caregivers and their children between the ages of 1 and 5 years old use smartphones and tablets. A mixed-methods approach was used, including two studies. Study 1 used non-participant observations to analyze family interactions related to smartphone use in food court areas in shopping malls. A total of 22 children were observed while interacting with their caregivers and their use of smartphones was registered (N = 269 events) and classified according to (a) the person who used the smartphone and (b) the actions that took place during its use. Results indicated smartphones were mostly used by caregivers (n = 226, 84.01 %), followed by a co-use to take pictures or make videos (n = 27, 10.03 %). Children's use was infrequent (n = 16, 5.94 %). During caregivers' use, children usually engaged in activities that did not involve their caretaker, such as silently eating, interacting with another adult not using a smartphone at the moment or looking around. When children attempted to interact with their caregivers while they were using their smartphones, caregivers rarely responded. No disruptive behaviors on children were observed after caregivers' lack of response. Using a survey methodology, Study 2 explored children's and caregivers' use of mobile devices at home. A total of 42.9 % of caregivers reported they sometimes facilitate a device to their children to be able to accomplish other domestic and work-related tasks, as well as to satisfy personal needs. Daily duration of caregivers' use of devices was longer on weekdays (M = 207 minutes, SD = 116.02) than weekends (M = 164.25 minutes, SD = 118.54). Caregivers' daily duration of use was related to children's daily duration of use during weekdays (r = .414) and weekends (r = .451), and during caregiving time on weekdays (r = .328) and weekends (r = .541). Using a Likert scale (1 = never, 5 = always), the children's consumed content was explored. Findings indicate that children mostly consumed content from YouTube (M = 3.60, SD = 1.14) and children's educational apps (M = 3.13, SD = 1.5). Use of educational videogames (M = 3.27, SD = 1.34), puzzle-like videogames (M = 2.36, SD = 1.26) and word games (M = 2.23, SD = 1.14) was more frequent than action (M= 1.48, SD = 1.02) and sports videogames (M= 1.55, SD = 0.93). Educational televised programs (M = 3.58, SD = 1.10) and musical cartoons (M = 3.27, SD = 1.11) were frequently consumed by children. A total of 47.2 % of caregivers also indicated that they always accompany their children while they use devices at home. Caregivers reported a higher use of technological restrictive mediation (M = 4.14, SD = 1.14) and supervision (M = 4.1, SD = 1.11), followed by instructive (M = 3.93, SD = 1.19) and co-use mediation (M= 3.62, SD = 1.14). On a scale of 1 (very negative) to 5 (very positive), caregivers indicated that physical activity (M = 1.72, SD = 1.07) and sleep (M = 2.09, SD = .96) were most negatively affected by children's device use, whereas mathematical (M = 3.36, SD = 1.04) and linguistic skills (M = 3.44, SD = 1.13) were the most positively affected. This study's results provide a preliminary understanding of the context of use of mobile technology during caregiving of young children.

Conhecida como um meio consensual de administração de conflitos, a mediação, ao lado da conciliação, está cada vez mais presente e divulgada no Brasil. No âmbito jurídico, tem sido adotada como estratégia política de reforma do Judiciário. Seu caráter interdisciplinar busca uma justiça restaurativa, não punitiva, mesclando conhecimentos do Direito, da Psicologia e da Comunicação. A mediação, especialmente, a familiar, objetiva prover famílias em conflito de ferramentas de resolução a fim de responsabilizá-las nas tomadas de decisão, bem como promover equilíbrio entre deveres e direitos, estabelecendo confiança e respeito entre seus membros. Este artigo, recorte de uma pesquisa empírica de doutorado, objetiva apresentar as contribuições da perspectiva da Análise Institucional em relação à mediação judicial no âmbito familiar, a partir de uma leitura crítica das propostas consensuais da área, apontando as "encomendas" e "demandas" feitas aos mediadores em suas práticas. Metodologicamente, adotou-se uma perspectiva qualitativa, em que foram utilizadas observação da realidade institucional e entrevistas semiestruturadas realizadas com os mediadores familiares. Elucidaram-se analisadores, emergidos da leitura dos dados construídos no campo e, em seguida, observaram-se as linhas de forças operadas nesse dispositivo.


Known as a consensual means of conflict management, mediation, alongside conciliation, is increasingly present and disseminated in Brazil. In the legal field, it has been adopted as a political strategy for the Judiciary reform. Its interdisciplinary character seeks restorative, non-punitive justice, mixing knowledge of Law, Psychology and Communication. Family mediation aims to provide tools of resolution to families in conflict in order to hold them accountable in decision-making, as well as promote a balance between duties and rights, establishing trust and respect among its members. This article, part of an empirical doctoral research, aims to present the Institutional Analysis perspective contributions related to judicial mediation in the family sphere, from a critical reading of the consensual proposals in the area, pointing out the "orders" and "demands" made to mediators in their practices. Methodologically, a qualitative perspective was adopted, in which observation of the institutional reality and semi-structured interviews conducted with family mediators were used. Analyzers were elucidated, emerged from reading the data constructed in the field, and then the lines of forces operated on this device were observed.


Conocida como un medio consensuado de manejo de conflictos, la mediación, junto a la conciliación, ha estado cada vez más presente y difundida en Brasil. En el ámbito legal, ha sido adoptada como estrategia política para la reforma judicial. Su carácter interdisciplinario busca la justicia reparadora, no punitiva, mezclando conocimientos de Derecho, Psicología y Comunicación. La mediación, especialmente familiar, tiene como objetivo proveera las familias en conflicto de herramientas de resolución para responsabilizarlas en la toma de decisiones, así como promover el equilibrio entre deberes y derechos, estableciendo confianza y respeto entre sus miembros. Este artículo, parte de una investigación empírica de doctorado, tiene como objetivo presentar los aportes desde la perspectiva del Análisis Institucional en relación a la mediación judicial en el ámbito familiar, a partir de una lectura crítica de las propuestas consensuadas en el área, señalando las "órdenes" y "demandas" que se hacen a los mediadores en sus prácticas. Metodológicamente, se adoptó una perspectiva cualitativa, en la que se utilizó la observación de la realidad institucional y entrevistas semiestructuradas realizadas con mediadores familiares. Se dilucidaron los analizadores, surgidos de la lectura de los datos construidos en el campo, y luego se observaron las líneas de fuerzas operadas en este dispositivo.

Resumen El objetivo es conocer acerca del efecto indirecto de la inteligencia emocional en la autoeficacia académica a través del compromiso académico en una muestra de estudiantes universitarios del Ecuador. Para ello se realizó un análisis de tipo descriptivo correlacional, de determinación, de mediación parcial a través de SEM y de corte transversal. El instrumental empleado corresponde a la Brief Emotional Intelligence Inventory for Senior Citizens, la Utrecht Work Engagement Scale y la Escala de Autoeficacia Percibida Específica de Situaciones Académicas. La muestra estuvo conformada por 500 estudiantes (57.5 % mujeres y 42.4 % hombres), entre 18 y 45 años (M = 24.5 años; SD = 6.9), procedentes de dos universidades de Ambato y Quito en Ecuador y de 11 carreras de pregrado. Entre los resultados se encontró que los niveles de las variables en análisis son normales entre los estudiantes, aunque un 30 % se encuentran en zona de riesgo por baja autoeficacia académica. Se confirma la relación entre inteligencia emocional (r = .522; p < .01) y el compromiso académico (r = .326; p < .01) en la autoeficacia académica. Estas variables forman un modelo explicativo del 30.6 % del cambio de la varianza de la autoeficacia académica. Además, la inteligencia emocional ejerce un efecto indirecto sobre la autoeficacia académica por medio del compromiso académico (ab = .031; p < .01). Como conclusión se establece que la inteligencia emocional y el compromiso académico son predictores de la autoeficacia académica. Además, que el compromiso académico es una variable de mediación parcial entre la inteligencia emocional y la autoeficacia académica en universitarios del Ecuador. La inteligencia emocional tiene como propiedad que ejerce un efecto directo en la autoeficacia académica e indirecto-parcial por medio del compromiso.


Abstract The intrapersonal and self-influence elements of individuals are necessary to know the impact they maintain in the educational context, because they are strong internal motivators that direct the behaviour of the individual to carry out various activities, as well as their achievement and success. There is evidence of the capacities that students have to monitor, control and regulate their own behaviours in the learning process. Although historically academic performance has been associated with intelligence in general, elements such as self-monitoring, self-control, self-regulation, self-motivation and others are key pieces to prevent school failure and maintain an adequate school performance. Within educational research, phenomena such as emotional intelligence, engagement and academic self-efficacy stand out due to their impact on academic performance. There are several studies that analyse the existing dynamics of these three variables, although separately, so a multifactorial study could expand the current conception of these internal elements and their effect on education. This investigation's objectives are to identify the current state of emotional intelligence, engagement and academic self-efficacy in a sample of university students from Ecuador, as well as the relationship between these variables and the indirect effect of emotional intelligence on academic self-efficacy through academic engagement. Thus, this study is a descriptive correlational, determination and partial mediation analysis, carried out through SEM using the Brief Emotional Intelligence Inventory for Senior Citizens, the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale and the Scale of Perceived Self-efficacy Specific to Academic Situations. The sample was made up of 500 students (57.5 % women and 42.4 % men), between 18 and 45 years old (M = 24.5 years; SD = 6.9), from two universities in Ambato and Quito in Ecuador and 11 undergraduate majors. The participants were selected through an intentional non-probabilistic sampling with inclusion criteria, which were: (a) be legally enrolled in one of the universities in this study; (b) voluntary participation in the study; (c) signed participation consent; and (c) be of legal age. In general, the levels of emotional intelligence, engagement and self-efficacy are normal among students; however, in academic engagement, 30 % are in a risk zone. The relationship between emotional intelligence (r = 0.522; p < .01) and academic engagement (r = 0.326; p < .01) in academic self-efficacy is confirmed. Together, these variables form an explanatory model that can predict changes in variance by 30.6 %. The theoretical model proposed by means of structural linear regression has an adequate adjustment indicator χ. = 252.9; p < .001; df = 116; χ./df = 2.1; CFI = .96; TLI = .95; RMSEA = .049 [.040 - .057]; SRMR = .042. In addition, emotional intelligence has an indirect effect on academic self-efficacy through academic engagement (ab = .0031; p < .01). Among the conclusions of the study, it is mentioned that emotional intelligence and academic engagement are predictors of academic self-efficacy. Therefore, their interest and management in the educational context is relevant. Moreover, the academic engagement is a partial mediation variable between emotional intelligence and academic self-efficacy in university students in Ecuador. Emotional intelligence has the ability to exert not only direct effects, but also partial indirect effects through a third variable. One of the implications of the study is that the use of more contemporary methods such as SEM allows a broader vision of the modelling of academic behaviour, which is an important contribution because it significantly reduces measurement bias. In addition, these results contribute to the future development of psychoeducational intervention processes that contribute to the improvement of the academic performance of students and to the teaching-learning processes in general. Finally, it is important to replicate similar studies in order to generalize these findings.

Abstract Although the effects of overall organizational justice on perceptions of work-related stress have been demonstrated in previous studies, the mechanisms underlying this relationship are not explicit. Current research suggests that supervisors who are perceived as fair enhance employees' ability to balance their work and family roles, positively impacting their stress levels. The aim of this research is to examine the mediating role of work-family conflict in the relationship between perceptions of overall organizational justice and work-related stress in a Latin-American work context; also analyze gender differences in work-family/work-family conflict. 129 workers belonging to a Chilean public institution participated and answered a self-report questionnaire. Analyses were done using bivariate correlations of Pearson, Tau-b of Kendall, Student t-test and structural equation modeling. The results showed the existence of a significant negative correlation between perceptions of overall organizational justice and work-related stress. Furthermore, this relationship was partially mediated by work-family conflict, which means, perceptions of organizational justice were directly and indirectly associated with work-related stress, through work-family conflict. With respect to the gender variable and the work-family, no significant differences were found. This study contributes empirical evidence regarding the importance of perceptions of overall organizational justice and the work-family conflict on work-related stress, and the results obtained guide the diagnosis and the design of more specific models of prevention and intervention from the perspective of occupational health psychology.


Resumen Si bien los efectos de las percepciones de justicia organizacional global sobre las percepciones de estrés laboral han sido demostrados en estudios previos, los mecanismos que subyacen a esta relación no resultan explícitos. La investigación actual plantea que las jefaturas percibidas como más justas potencian la capacidad del trabajador para conciliar sus roles laborales y familiares, impactando positivamente sus niveles de estrés. El objetivo de este estudio es analizar, en un contexto laboral latinoamericano, el rol mediador del conflicto trabajo-familia en la relación entre las percepciones de justicia organizacional global y estrés laboral; y analizar diferencias entre hombres y mujeres respecto al conflicto trabajo-familia. Participaron 129 trabajadores pertenecientes a una institución pública chilena, quienes contestaron un cuestionario de autoreporte. Se efectuaron correlaciones bivariadas de Pearson, Tau-b de Kendall, prueba t de Student y modelamiento de ecuaciones estructurales. Los resultados mostraron la existencia de una correlación negativa y significativa entre las percepciones de justicia organizacional global y el estrés laboral. Además, esta relación estuvo mediada parcialmente por el conflicto trabajo-familia, es decir, las percepciones de justicia organizacional se asociaron de manera directa e indirecta al estrés laboral, a través del conflicto trabajo-familia. Respecto de la variable género y el conflict trabajo-familia, no se encontraron diferencias significativas. Este estudio aporta evidencia empírica sobre la importancia de las percepciones de justicia organizacional global, y sus resultados orientan el diagnóstico y la elaboración de modelos de prevención e intervención más específicos desde el campo de la psicología de la salud ocupacional.

Este artigo de revisão sistemática buscou compreender como a mediação pedagógica vem sendo compreendida pela literatura científica da Educação Física Escolar quanto à produção do conhecimento. Para tal, consultamos duas bases de dados nas quais identificamos 9 artigos que atendiam aos critérios estabelecidos. Identificamos que a mediação pedagógica se apresenta fundamentada, com expressiva referência, nos estudos de Vygotsky, destacando-se a teoria sobre a zona de desenvolvimento proximal como suporte teóricometodológico aos processos de ensino e aprendizagens da Educação Física Escolar. Em vista disso, localizamos 3 palavraschave transversais aos estudos analisados (Comportamento, Sistematização do Conhecimento e Intervenção), a partir das quais estabelecemos categorias de análise e apresentamos as sínteses de nossas interpretações. Para esse diálogo, buscamos suporte na Educação Libertadora de Paulo Freire, o que nos permitiu sugerir pelo reposicionamento da mediação pedagógica na Educação Física Escolar na perspectiva da pedagogia do oprimido


This systematic review article sought to understand how pedagogical mediation has been understood by the scientific literature of Physical Education in terms of knowledge production. For this, we consulted two databases in which we identified 9 articles that met the established criteria. We identified that pedagogical mediation is based, with expressive reference, on Vygotsky's studies, highlighting the theory about the zone of proximal development as a theoreticalmethodological support to the teaching and learning processes of Physical Education at School. In view of this, we located 3 keywords transversal to the analyzed studies (Behavior, Systematization of Knowledge and Intervention), from which we established analysis categories and presented the summaries of our interpretations. For this dialogue, we sought support in the Liberating Education of Paulo Freire, which allowed us to suggest the repositioning of the pedagogical mediation in the School Physical Education in the perspective of the pedagogy of the oppressed.


Este artículo de revisión sistemática buscó comprender cómo la mediación pedagógica ha sido entendida por la literatura científica de la Educación Física en términos de producción de conocimiento. Caracterizou-se como pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, descritiva, de análise de conteúdo. Bibliográfica, exploratória e documental. Realizou-se buscas avançadas dos termos mediação de informação AND competência em informação no Portal CAPES, na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações e na Base de Dados em Ciência da Informação, no período de 2016 a 2020. This study aims to understand how the relationship between information mediation and information competencies can contribute to the process of construction/deconstruction of reality and truth in a pandemic scenario. It was characterized as research of qualitative nature, descriptive, of content analysis. Bibliographical, exploratory and documental. Advanced search with the terms mediação de informação AND competência em informação were made on Portal CAPES, at Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações and at the Base de dados em Ciência da Informação, between 2016 and 2020. The analysis of the thirteen articles mined resulted in the finding of the need for: collaborative, educational, awareness-raising, sharing and use of information, valuing information based on studies and contexts; studies, projects and works of critical and conscious information mediation; construction of competencies in information and skills in dealing with fake news, infobesity and manipulated information through informational policies, essentially focused on the pandemic context(AU)


Este estudio pretende comprender cómo la relación entre la mediación de la información y las competencias informativas puede contribuir al proceso de construcción/deconstrucción de la realidad y la verdad en un escenario pandémico. Se caracterizó como una investigación de naturaleza cualitativa, descriptiva, de análisis de contenido, bibliográfica, exploratoria y documental. Se realizaron búsquedas avanzadas de los términos mediação de informação e competência em informação en el Portal CAPES, de la Biblioteca Digital Brasileña de Tesis y Disertaciones y en la Base de datos en Ciencias de la Información, en el período de 2016 a 2020. El resultado, a través del análisis de los trece artículos extraídos, fue la constatación de la necesidad de colaboración, educación, concienciación, intercambio y uso de la información, valoración de la información a partir de estudios y contextos; estudios, proyectos y trabajos de mediación informativa crítica y consciente; construcción de competencias en información y habilidades para hacer frente a las fake news, la infobesidad y la información manipulada a través de políticas informativas esencialmente centradas en el contexto pandémico(AU)

ABSTRACT

Resumen Se presenta una aproximación al entrecruzamiento de la psicología y la comunicación desde los términos "mediación" y "concepto", los cuales se interpretan como categorías de afinidad. En el contexto general se puede rastrear diversidades semánticas respecto a los términos indicados; esto es complejizado en la comprensión y operacionalización de tales nociones al ser abordadas desde las áreas del saber, en este caso, a partir de la teorización de lo comunicativo y lo psicológico. Por ello, el objetivo para este trabajo es reflexionar respecto a las intersecciones que se dan entre psicología y comunicación por medio de las nociones concepto y mediación. La metodología empleada para este trabajo fue desde lo cualitativo (Hernández-Sampieri y Mendoza-Torres, 2018), en el marco de lo hermenéutico y el corpus se establece desde la localización de discurso delimitado en la intertextualidad de diferentes autores (Aristóteles, 1995; Ausubel, Novak y Hanesian, 1997; Husserl, 1995; Martín-Barbero, 1991; Perrce, 1958; Platón, 1872; Vygotski, 1987, y Wittgenstein, 1999) como referentes de los campos de saber indicados. Este proceso de argumentación se teje a partir de comprender teóricamente la dimensión individual (subjetiva) y social para dar pistas sobre la bisagra que permita mostrar la intersección entre los campos de conocimientos nombrados en relación con las categorías concepto y mediación. Desde ese ámbito se establecen conexiones a partir de las dinámicas textuales, arrojando como inferencias el papel que desde lo general juega el lenguaje, y en particular el signo, como insumos para la comprensión de tales nociones a modo de objetos de estudio en los que convergen la psicología y la comunicación.


Abstract An approach to the intertwining of psychology and communication is presented from two terms, mediation and concept, which are interpreted as categories of affinity. In the general context, semantic diversities can be traced with respect to the terms indicated, this is complexified in the understanding and operationalization of such notions when approached from the areas of knowledge, in this case from the theorization of the communicative and the psychological. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to reflect on the intersections between psychology and communication through the notions of concept and mediation. The methodology for this paper was qualitative (Hernández-Sampieri y Mendoza-Torres, 2018), within the hermeneutic framework, and the corpus is established from the location of discourse delimited in the intertextuality of different authors (Aristotle, 1995; Ausubel, Novak and Hanesian, 1997; Husserl, 1995; Martín-Barbero, 1991; Peirce, 1958; Plato, 1872; Vygotski, 1987 and Wittgenstein, 1999) as referents of the indicated fields of knowledge. This process of argumentation is woven from a theoretical understanding of the individual (subjective) dimension, as well as the social dimension, in order to give clues about the hinge that allows showing the intersection between the named fields of knowledge in relation to the categories: concept and mediation. From this field, connections are established from the textual dynamics, throwing as inferences the role played by language and in particular the sign, as inputs for the understanding of such notions as objects of study in which psychology and communication converge.

XII Congresso Brasileiro de Psicanálise das Configurações Vinculares. y X Encontro Paulista de Saúde Mental, realizado del 23 al 26 de mayo de 2019 en Serra Negra, San Pablo, fuimos invitados por nuestros colegas integrantes de NESME, Núcleo de Estudos em Saúde Mental e Psicanálise das Configurações Vinculares, a colaborar en la organización de espacios de acogida para los asistentes al Congreso a través de seciones de Fotolenguaje, coordinadas por duplas brasileño-uruguayas, Asimismo, representó la oportunidad de presentar por primera vez en Brasil, las nuevas carpetas de fotos uruguayas. It is also our first opportunity to present the new folders of Uruguayan photos in Brazil. Resumen El incremento de riesgos hidrometereológicos causados por el cambio climático ha llevado consigo la necesidad de fortalecer las capacidades adaptativas de afrontamiento. Bajo este contexto, el objetivo del presente estudio fue esclarecer la relación entre la experiencia directa y las capacidades activas de afrontamiento, considerando tres posibles mediadores: la severidad subjetiva, la percepción del riesgo y la implicancia personal. Para esto, se obtuvo una muestra por conveniencia (n = 490) de una ciudad chilena afectada por aluviones. Como resultado, si bien todas las variables correlacionaron directamente con las capacidades activas (entre r = .13 y r = .49), la relación principal solo estuvo mediada por el temor al riesgo y la identificación y posibilidad de acción; por tanto, se concluye que la experiencia directa previa, el miedo y la autoeficacia percibida impulsarían comportamientos precautorios activos frente al riesgo aluvional.


Abstract The increase of hydro-meteorological risks, caused by climate change, has brought with it the need to strengthen adaptive coping capacities. In this context, the aim of the present study was to clarify the relationship between direct experience and active coping capacities, considering three possible mediators: subjective severity, risk perception and personal involvement. For this purpose, a convenience sample (n = 490) was obtained from a Chilean city affected by alluvium. Although all variables directly correlated with active capabilities (between r = .13 and r = .49), the main relationship was only mediated by i) fear for risk and ii) identification and possibility of action. Therefore, it is concluded that previous direct experience, fear and perceived self-efficacy, would drive active precautionary behaviors in the face of alluvial risk.
